Welcome to the weekly digest of the most talked about stories from adidas News.
We begin this week with a deep breath in, and deep breath out as we celebrate the launch of the new Manchester United third jersey – a kit that focuses the mind on doing things the Mancunian way. A clean black kit needs clean black boots, and the new Predator Obsidian Strike arrives just in time for the beginning of a new season ready for goals.
Legendary moments on the pitch continue to influence the designs of the future, with the ADILENIUM 4.0 x TEAMGEIST collection taking us back to 2006. The TEAMGEIST apparel design is further celebrated by football superstar Lamine Yamal who helps introduce the vis-tech collection of clothing, alongside the MEGARIDE
footwear collection, to a new generation.
Future facing silhouettes cross onto the court, with the Y-3 Tennis collection landing ahead of the final major of the season. adidas apparel and footwear technologies are combined with premium materials and the vivid Y-3 seasonal aesthetic to create striking high performance products for some of the best players in the world.
In running, we have created the first adidas shoe designed to support running on a treadmill with the new TreadFlow delivering a super light and breathable experience through CLIMACOOL and LIGHTSTRIKE PRO integration. On the basketball court, Donovan Mitchell unveiled the D.O.N. Issue 7 Panama and for the street long time adidas collaborator Ronnie Fieg continues to reimagine and reinterpret adidas icons, with the unveil of the “Black Tie 2.0” KITH x adidas Superstar.
And finally we premiere a new documentary set on the oldest and toughest 100-mile trail race. Five adidas TERREX athletes take on the 2025 Western States and we are there for all the action with 100 Reasons Why The Miles We Share.
