Running season is in full swing. Ahead of the Boston Marathon, we launched the Adizero Boston 13, with Romain Wyndaele taking us back to the archive to share his love for the product and obsession with the latest edition of the model. A photo finish at the marathon itself saw Alphonce Felix Simbu and CyBrian Kotut secure 2nd and 3rd places, both wearing the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 2, which has officially arrived in London just in time for the London Marathon, ready to help runners chase their personal bests.
From personal to community: Move for the Planet, our annual initiative that focuses on making sports facilities more resilient against extreme weather conditions across the globe, is back. For every 10 minutes of movement logged on the adidas Running app or Strava, we will donate €1 (up to €1.5m) to improve education on projects supporting sustainability education and improving sports facilities, in collaboration with our partners – Common Goal and UN Climate Change.
On the field of play, the three stripes were shining brightly in Italy once again: Juventus Women footballers claimed their sixth Serie A title, showcasing their dominance in the league. Off the pitch, Italian defender for Arsenal, Riccardo Calafiori, became the first-ever ambassador for the style-focused Active Flex Collection of adidas underwear, blending performance and comfort.
adidas gymnast and Olympic medallist Rebeca Andrade became the first Brazilian woman to win a Laureus Award, celebrating her incredible comeback and achievements in gymnastics.
Finally, ahead of this year’s draft, we proudly welcome 12 first-class athletes to the three stripes, bolstering our roster of elite NFL players, led by Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
