Also in basketball: we launched Harden Vol 9, the latest iteration of James Harden's signature shoe, which continues to embody the athlete's unique self-expression while becoming a favourite of the new generation of players, including Jalen Williams, Lu Dort, Kaleena Smith and others.
From basketball to the ever-growing pickleball and padel, we welcomed two amazing athletes. Federico Staksrud, the number one pickleball player in the world, has joined adidas, signing a multi-year partnership that will see the launch of the signature shoe later this year, while adidas Padel welcomed the arrival of Argentinian Maximiliano Arce, one of the most prominent padel players in the world.
On the competition side, two remarkable achievements by adidas athletes didn't go unnoticed: Alice Robinson is back on top after winning the Giant Slalom World Cup in Kronplatz, while long-distance athlete Joyce Tele won the Tata Mumbai Marathon in Adizero Adios Pro 3.
Speaking of the Adizero franchise, we are excited to see its return to golf with Adizero ZG, a lighter, spikeless performance model with the updates to help golfers achieve greater stability, traction and comfort throughout the swing.
