Dear reader,
Much like good humour, thoughtful gestures may bring additional merriment if delivered with perfect timing. Beyond the obvious issue of remembering the dates of key occasions, gifts that are produced at more unexpected moments can strengthen an already close bond. Perhaps it is a hand balm for a friend who has just got—or indeed lost—a job; maybe it is the offer of a home-cooked meal for someone in need of comfort; or how about a room spray
as a jovial gesture of apology for any foul behaviour?
Whatever the occasion—or lack thereof—such acts of care need not be circumscribed by calendars.
Warm wishes,
Aesop

Humour
/ˈhjuːmə/
Noun: the quality of being amusing, or a mood / state of mind. From the Latin humere, meaning moisture. Today, fine examples may be found at comedy festivals, tables filled with close friends, and in the strange habits of one’s pets.
