Hello [Name],
We recently announced Airtable AI, a set of features with the potential to transform your workflows by embedding generative AI capabilities directly within your Airtable apps. To support these features and others coming soon, and to better explain what we ask of our customers generally, we have updated our Terms of Service, including our Airtable AI Terms, Third-Party AI Provider information, and Acceptable Use Policy.
Please follow the links above to review the updates in their entirety. Here are some highlights:
- We’ve updated the Airtable AI Terms to support the full suite of features and functionality planned as part of Airtable AI and enable the addition of a new third-party AI provider, IBM watsonx.
- We’ve modified the Acceptable Use Policy to incorporate requirements for the use of Airtable AI.
- We’ve adjusted the Terms of Service provisions that limit Airtable’s liability in various circumstances.
After July 15, 2024, Airtable AI will be turned on for Team and Free plan workspaces. Workspace owners can disable Airtable AI at any time through the workspace settings. As a reminder, the data in your workspaces will not be used to train the generative AI models that power Airtable AI. For more information, see here.
If you do not wish to accept the updated Terms of Service or Airtable AI Terms, you must deactivate your Airtable account before July 15, 2024. Otherwise, the updates will take effect on that date, and no action is required.
Thank you for being part of our community,
The Airtable team
