Pet parent if your dog could talk, they’d beg you to do this before leaving them alone...
It’s vacation season. You’re packing your bags, booking the pet sitter, and taking away your dog’s favorite person (that’s you).
But there’s one super gross thing the best pet parents do before heading out…
👉 Leave your dirty laundry lying around.
See, dogs miss you while you're gone.
A lot. And in your absence, they’ll do what any lovesick pup would:
Snuggle up with the stinkiest, sweatiest thing you own.
(Hint: it’s probably your workout/gardening shirt from two Tuesdays ago. Yeah. That one.)
Why? Because your scent is their comfort. Your B.O. is basically their teddy bear.
So, before you hit the road, toss an old T-shirt or pillowcase (unwashed!) in their bed or crate. It might look gross… because it is.
But to them, it smells like home.
Because nothing says “I wuv u” like letting your dog cuddle your dirty laundry in luxurious softness.
