RUNNING FOR CHANGE
Kiera Smalls
Fifteen years ago, Kiera laced up for a local 5K, not knowing it would spark a lifelong passion and a mission for change. In 2012, she launched a run club to make the space more inclusive—well before running groups were the norm. Now, as Executive Director of the Running Industry Diversity Coalition, she’s working to build a more diverse, accessible, and welcoming running community.
From amplifying diverse voices to driving justice initiatives, Kiera is breaking down barriers—one run at a time.
