There's a detail built into every shirt we make that announces itself quietly. From cuff to elbow, the outside of each sleeve carries a continuous reinforced panel — contoured, topstitched, and cut from the same cloth as the shirt itself. It doubles the material exactly where shirts fail first: at the cuff edge, along the forearm, to the elbow. Time and again our shirt makers tell us this is not an easy feature to sew, that it will add to the cost.
