Yarn-dyed and woven in Japan, Hand-Stitched in Portugal: Our Best Chambray Yet
The chambray shirt has a long history with us. Since we released our first back in July 2014, few garments have been worn through the workwear ranks like the chambray.
But there are chambrays, and then there is the Okayama chambray. This season’s shirt is cut from a heavier-weight, yarn-dyed Japanese selvedge cloth for warmth and wearability, making it ideal for fall. Made in Portugal by our most trusted shirtmaker, it features a hidden selvedge edge on the inside cuff and all the hallmarks of a Best Made shirt. These include our "cuff-to-elbow-tuff" reinforcement, and natural corozo buttons.
Available in rope-dyed indigo and tan, this chambray is made from a premium Japanese textile known for durability and a unique character that only develops with wear. Expect this shirt to maintain its quality and appearance over the years, setting a new bar among chambrays.
First introduced in 2017, our Canvas Field Pant was built to outlast ordinary work pants. This Special Edition update is cut from Japanese twill woven in Okayama and yarn-dyed for rich, enduring color. Reinforced knees and thighs, double-needle stitching, and riveted stress points to make sure they're ready for whatever the day brings.
