Tell us about your nutrition when getting ready for summer, specifically shredding season. "This year, I’ll be prepping for my first half marathon, so I’ll most likely be eating in a slight surplus to avoid losing too much weight. I usually lean out a bit during this time naturally by incorporating more cardio into my routine, but my nutrition stays consistent year-round: whole foods, protein shakes, plenty of fiber, and occasionally treating myself to my favorite indulgences."

How does your workout regimen change with warmer weather? "My workout regimen shifts with the warmer season. Strength training stays consistent—at least three times a week—while I add more outdoor activities like running, hiking, and swimming when I travel. I also incorporate plenty of active recovery, including yoga, cycling, and longer walks between higher-intensity training days." |

What changes in your routine when you’re looking to lean out? "More cardio, running specifically!" |

How do you stay fit on the go? "I love traveling, so whenever I’m away, I try to stay as active as possible to stay on track with my fitness goals. Depending on the location, staying active might mean getting a day pass to a nearby gym for a lift, swimming at the beach, running or exploring a new neighborhood, or biking around a new city. I tend to eat out more while traveling, but I always make sure to get enough protein with each meal—and I fit in protein shakes when needed." |
