Forces of Nature: Create, Move, and Renew

Celebrate Earth Day with an afternoon of activities that explore our connection to the natural world. Move your body, engage your senses, learn about herbal remedies with Herban Cura, and create and appreciate art that responds to the planet’s beauty, power, and fragility.
While you’re here, head to Oliver Jeffers: Life at Sea—an installation that invites visitors of all ages to a world below the waves—for a special encounter with the author and artist.

2026 State of the Borough

Hear what’s next for Brooklyn! Borough President Antonio Reynoso will deliver this year’s State of the Borough address at the Brooklyn Museum. President Reynoso has been a longtime champion of the Museum, sponsoring our beloved First Saturdays series. Be part of this landmark evening—a celebration of four years of historic progress.
Free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 pm, and the program begins at 7 pm.
