Happy Father’s Day!
Like many of you, I have countless amazing memories with my dad from firsts to adventures to small rituals. What I also have had the great opportunity to experience is the transition of my husband into becoming a father. Witnessing parenthood has been an extraordinary journey for me!
It’s amazing to see the things that are JUST FOR DAD - trips to the Peterson Automotive museum, shoulder rides through the streets of Dublin to watch the city buses, hair washing and haircuts, learning to hit a golf ball with his plastic set of clubs. |
The list goes on and is unique to each of us - but what is universally true is that for those of us fortunate to have our dads present in our lives -- there's something so special about the energy they emit.
And we're lucky to have some amazing, all-hands-on-deck dads and father-figures on our team here at BURST HQ and we thank them through the policies we uphold.
That means a flexible, remote 4-day work week so working dads can take ownership of their schedules to do school pickup, coach after-school activities, clean up after dinner and still have time to put their feet up at the end of the day.
It means generous and adaptable family leave without fear that we won’t be waiting with open arms when they return.
It means adaptability when last-minute family priorities pop up and understanding when schedules need shifting.
So today, let’s give all the fathers alllll the love by showering them in dad jokes and lots of crisp high-fives. |
