Friday is Summer Solstice; the longest day of the year! In the midst of all that’s going on in the world right now, I hope you find a way to celebrate and honor the changing of the season. Summer is upon us.
We never like to sugarcoat it here at Canyon. There is plenty of news to feel heavy about in the world. I’ve been feeling that, myself. We are a coffee company, and we’re not here to offer easy answers—but what we offer to you and the world is a belief in the power of small, grounding rituals to help us start each day with a moment of intention.
For us, that starts with coffee. That quiet moment in the morning, before the busyness of the day begins, is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and center ourselves. It’s why we care so deeply about what we do—because we’ve felt firsthand what a difference utilizing our coffee ritual for a moment of mindfulness can make in our day.
And whether or not you’re feeling the heaviness of the world — let’s not forget it’s also summer. A season for lightness, for fun, for gathering with friends, heading out on early road trips, backyard cookouts, and cooling off by the pool or at the beach.
