Hi! My name is Annalise, and I’ve been at charity: water since 2016. I first joined as the receptionist at our New York headquarters and later led our Supporter Experience team.
It was truly the best job because it allowed me to get to know many of you. You shared stories with me about your kids, how you spend your time, and why you care about clean water. Those conversations shaped how I saw our mission.
In 2023, I moved to the Product team to work on an exciting project: reinventing how we report back to our donors. While I was sad to step away from daily conversations with you, I knew how important this work would be.
For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working on WaterProof alongside our incredible team. And even though I don’t spend my days connecting with you on the phone or over email anymore, I leaned on every story you shared, feedback you gave, and question you asked when we were building this.
And now, after years of dreaming and building, every donor will be connected to a project they helped support — for every donation, every single time.
We built this for the teachers running fundraisers in their classrooms, the monthly donors giving sacrificially, the families sponsoring entire projects, and every person who believes in a world where everyone has access to clean water. We built this for you.
