Per my Black Friday tradition, I went on Instagram live earlier today to answer our community's questions about what to get during the sale! A few common questions came up that I wanted to share with our community here:
- Several people asked what's the best product to combat redness. The products I'd most recommend for redness include our Chlorophyll Discoloration Serum and Ceramide Barrier Serum. The Chlorophyll Serum helps reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation through the use of alpha arbutin and licorice root, while the green chlorophyll helps immediately offset redness. For redness caused by irritation, that's where I'd recommend the Ceramide Barrier Serum as this is soothing and barrier supporting.
- We also got a few questions about the best products for acne. I'd recommend the Postbiotic Acne Serum for day to day management of decongesting pores, and also the Beginner Retinol. Retinol is best for aging skin, but it's also a tried and true hero ingredient for dealing with breakouts.
- Sooo many questions about what order to use our products!! In general, think about always cleansing your skin before applying the rest of your skincare. Then, do "thinnest to thickest". See below for the general order of operations:
- Cleanser
- Toner
- Retinol (pm only)
- Serums
- Moisturizers and eye creams
- SPF (am only)
