We love our LA community and wanted to share an update on everything we’ve been doing together to support those affected by the fires.
We’ve been able to host displaced families in a local hotel in LA, and we’re proud to have helped provide temporary shelter during this difficult time.
We’ve been saying yes to as many donation requests as possible. If you have a GoFundMe or need specific items, please use this submission form to be added to our LA Fire Donation Database. We’ve been focusing on GoFundMes that are far from their goal and for product requests we are sending essentials like body lotions, cleansers, and body oil sticks to those in need.
We asked our community to send any new, unused products they were able to donate to Giving Generously, and in return, we provided prepaid shipping labels to make it easier. While we’re no longer able to process additional shipping labels we are so thankful for your incredible generosity, which allowed us to ship over 2,000 pounds of product in less than a week.
We are sending out 4,000 N95 masks to organizations that need them most—thank you for your help directing us where and how to best allocate these.
We also want our platform to be a resource for everyone impacted. If there’s anything you’d like us to share—resources, fundraisers, or information—tag @cocokind, and we’ll do our best to amplify it.
Finally, 100% of proceeds from cocokind.com sales today will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation to support their ongoing relief efforts - we are forever grateful for their incredible bravery and tireless work. Your purchases today go directly toward making a difference.
