In 2023, we launched our lovely tins that are so beautiful, but not very functional. We’ve received so much feedback over the years about broken nails and spices flying across countertops because of how hard our tins are to open. We’ve been listening to it all, and for the past 2 years, we’ve been rethinking our packaging to make it far more functional for you, while also being practical and easy to co-pack and transport for us. It’s been a long process, and a great lesson that good things really do take time!! So allow me to introduce you to our brand new tins:
🟡 They are round, compact, stackable, and reusable
👐 They are easy to open (!!), with a soft silicone plug
👝 Your spices are snug in a sealed inner pouch that sits neatly inside the tin (that means we’re really protecting freshness, flavor, and those volatile oils that make spices potent!)
👩🍳 They are food-safe and designed for long-term spice storage (you can keep the spice inside the pouch, or simply empty it into the tin)
And, they also look different — a more grown-up version of us (shoutout to our incredible design team for making that happen), with all the essential info you need about your spices easily accessible in your hands!
You will see our packaging shift slowly over this year, and not all at once. Doing it all at once would mean wasting a lot of product and old tins that have already been produced, and we’ve made the conscious decision to not do that. For now, our beloved Popcorn Seasoning is in its brand new form, and there’s a lot more in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled!!
