Hello everyone ! Hope everyones good
Since we last spoke ive been just in the studio doing bits and bobs. I had a promo trip to Europe where I did the NRJ + Los40 awards which were super fun. I loved being back in France and Spain, two of my fav places to go and spend time just in general but I love the local music there, so being immersed in both cultures for an evening each was special. Got to film Star academy in France too which I loved, so much talent on that show. Back in UK I did Graham Norton and spoke about the work my music foundation is doing, and I did a Spotify show in Dublin which was wonderful, got to see a lot of my Irish family and drink Guinness, just what ya need
So the reason I’m sending this mailer, is I have a Netflix special coming out, called One Shot. This is the project I am most proud of in my career so far. It felt like everything id ever done since being a teenager has led up to this. It was insanity shooting. We had an hour on the camera, no more, and had to do it all live in one take through the streets of New York in rush hour. Venue to taxi to highline to bus to hotel to bar to car to street to subway to venue, all playing live, in one continuous shot. It was stress, but so fun. Phil who made it had made two of my favourite projects, adolescence and boiling point, so it was an honour to work with him. If you have a spare hour after November the 21st please go and watch it on Netflix. I’m so immensely proud of it
