Just a few days ago, ELEAT turned 3 years old and I wanted to take a moment to share a few reflections with you.
At the moment of writing this email, I’m sat on a beach in Rhossili, Wales. It’s 9am on a sunny Sunday, and I’ve just had a post-run sea dip (yes, it was a bit chilly). We’ve been exhibiting at the Love Trails Festival in the stunning Gower Peninsula all weekend. Some would say the perfect spot to reflect on how far we’ve come.
It’s hard to believe it’s been three years since we launched ELEAT. In truth, it feels like longer. Probably because Hywel and I started working on the idea over five years ago.
The journey so far? An enjoyable rollercoaster.
When we launched, there were 7 new brands entering the protein cereal space. Today, only 2 are left and we’re proud to be one of them. But more than that, ELEAT has evolved into something far bigger: a fully-fledged functional breakfast brand, with a growing range of products from protein cereals to granolas, and most recently, overnight oats.
I’ll be honest. I still find it amazing that thousands of people choose ELEAT every single day. We started with 5 orders a day. Now, that number is in the hundreds. That’s thanks to you.
Of course, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. We’ve faced our fair share of challenges from product development to supply chain hiccups. Our retail journey is just beginning too, and let’s just say getting supermarkets to understand the value of our functional breakfast brand hasn't been as easy as we thought it should be (although, we think it’s a no-brainer).
But through all of it, we’ve had your support and we are genuinely so grateful. Every order, message, review, and recommendation has helped us keep going. So thank you. Truly.
As we look ahead to the next 3 years, our mission remains the same: to become the UK’s leading functional breakfast brand and we’re more determined than ever to make that happen.
Here’s to the next 3 year’s and beyond.
