We love this cannery partner tremendously but no matter how we and they tried, we couldn’t keep up with the demand for our smoked salmon products.
We wanted to be able to bring Fishwife smoked salmon to more loving customers, and at the same time, we couldn’t imagine not working with this cannery, or discontinuing our original smoked salmon recipe.
An idea emerged 🧠! We said — hey! Why don’t we have our cake and eat it too 🍰?!
So! We decided to work with our Danish cannery partner to create a new, fantastic, and differentiated smoked salmon product, while still continuing to produce as much of our original smoked salmon with the Washington Cannery as we possibly could.
