I hope you enjoyed well-deserved time off this holiday season, and you’re feeling fresh and ready for 2025!
2024 was a monumental year for Fishwife. Looking back, it’s almost impossible to believe it was all contained within a mere twelve months!
Here are my top highlights:
- We kicked off the year with a bang, appearing on Shark Tank in early January! The love and enthusiasm from our community blew us away and set the tone for the rest of the year.
- So many new tins! From our limited-edition Smoked Salmon with Sweet + Spicy Zhong in partnership with Fly By Jing to the launch of our incredible new tunas, an upgraded Smoked Rainbow Trout, and finally, our pièce de résistance—California Caviar!
- We went nationwide! Fishwife tins are now available at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Wegmans, The Fresh Market, and we wrapped the year with a dream launch at Target in California!
- Our Fishwife Tinned Fish Shop pop-up in New York City was a true highlight. Danny, our brilliant illustrator, transformed the space into a work of art, and we were thrilled to meet over 5,000 of you in person. We cherished every single moment.
- Collabs galore! From tuna sandwiches with restaurants across the country, to mini hot sauces with Tabasco, a capsule collection with Lisa Says Gah!, lemon sea salt with Jacobsen Salt Co., and even a national TV commercial with Klaviyo—we loved every opportunity to work with so many incredible partners.
It was a truly unforgettable year and none of it would have been possible without your support. We’re so deeply grateful to pour our love, energy, and creativity into this business—and even more grateful that you continue to embrace it with open arms.
