If you're headed to Kentucky there's no better way to spend your time than by hitting the Bourbon trail. Setting this up is a bit tricky, but here is an example of an open-jaw itinerary that works. You could also turn this into a singular round trip itinerary to either Cincinnati or Louisville.
This open-jaw itinerary has you flying into Cincinnati (CVG) and out of Louisville (SDF), setting you up for a fantastic Bourbon trip through Kentucky (you'll have to rent a car, of course–which, if you have a credit card that earns you cash back at the pump, it'll offset some travel costs). Highlights along the way include:
• Visiting 18+ popular bourbon distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and some wonderful distilleries in Cincinnati as well.
• Exploring the world’s longest cave system in Mammoth Cave National Park
• Eating some fantastic Cuban food at La Bodeguita de Mima
