This is what the internet was built for. Created by The Office of Collecting and Design, the Security Envelope Pattern Swap is exactly what it sounds like: a worldwide trade of the often artful patterns found in security envelopes. It’s a fun project from a fun museum that focuses on “the diminutive, the misplaced, the unusual, and the forgotten.” Unfortunately, the latest iteration is already booked up, but you can add yourself to the waitlist to get ahead of the next swap in the spring. There’s also other clubs to pick from, like the Postcard and Treasure Clubs, which center around similar ideas. The museum itself is currently on the road, should you be on the West Coast and want to check it out in person.

I feel like sometimes high CBD gummies get a bad rap. People often worry they’ll be too much of a downer or make them feel too sleepy. These Pomegranate 1:1 edibles from Wyld are the ideal counterpoint. I often describe them to friends as Goldilocks gummies: not too mellow, not too elevating, just right. They’re my go-to when I just want to get a nice middle-of-the-road, feel-good high that works for a myriad of activities. I also know I’m not alone because they keep selling out, but we just restocked them earlier this week.

On paper, “Hi, I’m High” shouldn’t work. The recurring series from Gotham New York and their director of content, Rachel Bell, has a very simple but well-trodden concept: film someone who’s high to help market cannabis products. Ninety-nine out of a hundred times, this idea will fail, or at least be incredibly uninteresting and unfunny. But where others fall short, Bell succeeds with style. Each video is a smartly edited three minutes of near-stream of consciousness from a stoned Bell at some New York location, a non-stop barrage of quips and asides to the camera person, herself, or random passersby in places like Central Park, a fashion show, and the Staten Island ferry. Bell’s natural humor and good-naturedness make every episode a joy to watch regardless of whether you consume cannabis or not, and I find myself looking forward to the next installment as soon as I’m finished watching the latest one. Highly, highly recommended.

I sort of can’t believe these are still in stock. I picked up a three-pack of the pouches (long since sold out) from this collab between Baggu and British designer Molly Goddard last month, and figured I’d missed the chance to pair them with the matching bags. Turns out, I was wrong, and if you want to get the jump on an ideal stocking stuffer or holiday gift for a fellow baby Pegasus-loving friend, I suggest grabbing a set while you still can. (I’ve been using the largest pouch as my weed travel bag for weekend trips, and it brings me a lot of joy.)

BagelFest is poppy-ing up once again at Citi Field on Sunday, November 16th. One of those “only in New York” kind of things, the festival features over 50 vendors from as far away as Honolulu and as unexpected as Denmark and Spain. New Orleans’ Flour Moon Bagels, my favorite bagel outside New York City, will also be in attendance. Festival passes allow for unlimited bagel samples, immersive bagel-themed art and experiences, and industry panels on all things bagels. The higher-priced tickets also get you a bunch of extras like a bagel-making class and a special bagel-tasting Growth Lab event. The early-bird tier has already sold out, so you better get rolling.

I treated my hands to a dime-size dollop of this luscious moisturizer before starting to type this, and now I’m distracted by both their dewy glow and subtle herbal scent. Our friends at Rose don’t mess around when it comes to quality, and their latest collaboration with Marie Veronique, a pioneer in holistic skincare. The Body Barrier Emulsion is an oil and cream hybrid featuring natural oils, emollients, and probiotics to boost hydration and cell turnover, with an added layer of anti-inflammatory and barrier-strengthening therapeutic cannabis compounds. It’s a lovely item to have at your desk or bedside table during the coming season, and would also make a really special gift.
