Instagram accounts like this almost feel like a quaint reminder of a different era of the internet, back when people’s creative output was purely a hobby and not a “side hustle” or monetized in some way. And while @parisianchairs appears to have been dormant for a bit, a recent post was plugged by Present & Correct (where I saw it) and seems to suggest that more images of Parisian bistro chairs are on the way. -DW

Almost five years ago today, I put Lauren Edelstein’s painstaking, emoji-only recreations of runway designs and pop culture figures in High Praise. Earlier this week, Edelstein held her first art show, featuring large format, limited edition prints of some of her most iconic works, including Dolly Parton, Snoop Dogg, and ASAP Rocky and Rihanna’s pregnancy reveal. Even better, prints are now available for purchase through her site. In that first High Praise, I encouraged you to follow her so that you could say you knew her when. Well, here we are. -VvP

This is just a little reminder that we now offer joints and cigarettes from our old friends at Pure Beauty in the THC section of our shop, shipping to over 25 states and straight to your door. How, exactly? While Pure Beauty is known for their high quality, premium cannabis grown and sold in California, these pre-rolls are filled with carefully sourced THCA flower. THCA is a federally legal cannabinoid found in hemp plants. When you heat it, the non-psychoactive THCA transforms into THC, releasing its psychoactive effects. In other words, light one of these up and smoke away. -VvP

I’ve written about Togei Kyoshitsu in the past, but now I’m here to tell you that a whole new slew of classes at this traditional Japanese pottery studio are available. I did a one-day session in early 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed it (I still use my mug and saucer all the time), and I would’ve taken more classes were there not a pandemic. So, if you’re looking for something a little offbeat that you can do sober or high, this might be a good option. -DW

Probably my new favorite strain, Lemon Bean is perfect for getting up and doing practically anything (except handling heavy machinery). If you’ve got spring cleaning to do or just want something fun to smoke before heading out for a day, definitely pick some up if you see it. For New Yorkers, I know that Moz on the Lower East Side has everything from pre-rolls to ounces available, but it looks like Cresco is also currently carrying it, at least in Illinois. -DW

To be honest, I’m only sharing this one because I think I now officially have more art than usable wall space. If you’re as much a sucker for vintage paintings of animals as I am, give @catskillsvintageart a follow. The works they post are relatively reasonably priced, which might be why they go so quick. Folks in the vicinity of Roscoe and Callicoon can also scope out some of the pieces in person, but I recommend being decisive and DMing immediately when you want something. -VvP
