The 10 Best-Dressed Men at the Golden Globes 2026, Ranked |
By Eileen Cartter, Savannah Sobrevilla, and Yang-Yi Goh |
With the 2026 Golden Globes done and dusted, awards season is officially in full swing. During Sunday’s ceremony, we got a full picture of contemporary red-carpet menswear: tie-free tuxedos; a hefty smattering of brooches and bow-shaped accessories; peak-lapel jackets; wide-legged and flared trousers; offbeat suits by offbeat brands. And from these trends that have emerged over the last half-decade, we can glean at least one truth: The fellas are getting dressed, and for the most part, they want us to take notice.
The night’s biggest winners, from Marty Supreme’s Timothée Chalamet in custom Chrome Hearts and Timbs to Adolescence’s Owen Cooper in workwear-ish Bottega Veneta, staked their claim as sartorial mavericks in one way or another. Others have eased up on the gas; both Sentimental Value’s Stellan Skarsgård and Hamnet’s Paul Mescal nixed the bowties on their tuxedos. Famous men, they contain multitudes.
Here are our 10 favorite looks from the 2026 Golden Globes, definitively ranked. |

|
In September, the 16-year-old Adolescence star kicked off his trophy-laden awards run at the Emmys, where he wore a Frank Ocean-esque look from Zac Posen’s Gap Studio. Ever since, Cooper has kept up the formal-workwear vibe by way of Bottega Veneta, the label that also provides big-ticket fashion for Jacob Elordi, whom Cooper just so happens to shadow as a younger Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s upcoming Wuthering Heights adaptation. Cooper’s boxy, offbeat approach to suiting has been an enlightening insight into how the boys of Generation Z are interpreting formalwear.
9. Atsuhiro Iwakami |
On just about every awards red carpet, there’s at least one largely unknown industry person who outdresses many of the A-listers present. At last night’s Globes, that distinction went to Kokuho producer Atsuhiro Iwakami, who balanced an uber-classic black-tie look—note the abundance of trad details, from the wing collar to the broad peak lapels to the cummerbund to the gleaming patent shoes—with a flex-worthy, palm-tree-motif Jil Sander clutch.
8. Seth Rogen |
Seth Rogen’s life can’t stop imitating his art. After painstakingly recreating the Golden Globes for The Studio’s season-one finale, the Apple TV+ show’s creator-star hit the actual Globes stage twice last night, picking up the statuettes for best actor and best television series (both musical or comedy). He did so in yet another tailored ensemble that mirrored the wardrobe of his Studio character Matt Remick: soft hues, double-breasted cut, enormously flattering.
