🐧 21 MERCER IS BACK: STAPLE Flagship
Why: 21 Mercer – the previous home of Nike's exclusive retail store NikeLab – returns to the streetwear scene as the flagship home for STAPLE. The NYC-bred label will occupy the space with STAPLE’s signature apparel and accessories, along with exclusive releases and potential special events held in the heart of SoHo. To celebrate the grand opening, STAPLE released a limited edition Brooks x STAPLE Adrenaline 4 GTS sneaker, clad in the brand's instantly-recognizable grey and pink "pigeon" colorway.

Why: Famed in the fashion world, Rick Owens' 6000-square-foot space is a retail expression that encapsulates everything in the designer's design universe. The flagship is a one-stop shop for everything Rick from mainline runway pieces to DRKSHDW staples, t0 footwear, and even Michele Lamy’s Hunrod jewelry. Lamy designed the minimal and modern space through the four principal materials–concrete, mirror, steel, and white painted sheetrock.
