⚖️ adidas and Ye Officially Settle All Claims
TLDR:
Two years after the termination of their partnership, adidas and
Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, have reached an
out-of-court settlement that concludes all claims associated with the
German sportswear brand’s Yeezy collaboration.
Why
It Matters: “Both parties said we don’t need to fight anymore
and withdrew all the claims,” adidas chief executive officer Bjorn
Gulden said in a statement. He added that no payments were included in
their agreement. “No one owes anybody anything anymore. So whatever was
is history.” Ye lost his highly-successful partnership with adidas,
which ultimately earned upwards of $1 billion USD per year and pushed
him to billionaire status, after making a slew of other offensive
statements in October of 2022. In the aftermath of the terminated deal,
adidas was left with roughly $1.3 billion USD worth of Yeezy product,
which it has continued to sell down over the last two years. The brand
stated that it aims to conclude sales of the collaborative line by the
end of this year.

🪩 Justice on Anime, Remixes and Leaving the Club Scene Behind
TLDR:
Backed by a 20-year legacy as the premier French electronic act,
Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay continue to chart their own path. The
duo began performing together in 2003 and built a cult-like audience —
but the arms-wide-open reception they received from the contemporary
audience surprised them.
Why
It Matters: Even as one of the most influential electronic
acts of the past few decades – lauded for their convergence of French
house and rock music – Hyperdrama served to re-introduce Juitice to
longtime fans and a fresh pool of listeners alike thanks to anthemic
cuts like the Tame Impala-featuring “Neverender” and other
collaborations with Miguel, Connan Mockasin and Thundercat. On November
10, Justice will be headlining Hypefest Hong Kong, offering attendees
the opportunity to witness one of the duo’s rare live sets. de Rosnay
says they rarely perform live shows, so their sets are a return to
square one. "It’s just a lot of trying to to execute everything so that
you and the crowd are all in sync."

💧 MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon Reveal First Ready-To-Wear Collection
TLDR:
MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon are bringing their ongoing design
partnership to new heights with their first-ever ready-to-wear
collection.
Why
It Matters: Operating on a nude, black and white color
palette, the minimalist capsule collection is divided into two families:
GORE-TEX and Seamless. The former category includes trench coats,
straight-leg five-pocket pants, zippered windbreakers and oversized
button-down shirts made from (you guessed it!) GORE-TEX fabrics, while
the latter line offers stretch seamless technology leggings and
long-sleeved crewneck tops. In footwear, the capsule includes new
iterations of the Salomon ACS PRO 2 MM6 Maison Margiela in both sleek
concrete gray and rubberized matte black finishes. Additionally, the
Cross Low MM6 Maison Margiela, which twists the Salomon Speedcross trail
shoe with lower proportions and a unique lug sole, is back in two new
colorways.
