Donald Trump is celebrating the Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity as a “BIG WIN.” Take a look:
It goes without saying that this ruling is not a win for our democracy or for our Constitution. One of the dissenting opinions even states that this decision means that if the president “[o]rders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival” they will now be “Immune.”
Immune.
With this decision, Donald Trump now knows that not even the courts will hold him back as he goes on his unhinged pursuit of power and campaign for revenge and retribution.
The stakes of this race were incredibly high before this unprecedented decision, but now they are even higher.
The Donald Trump running for office right now is not the same one that we ran against in 2020. He is scarier. He is more unhinged. He is more dangerous. And, potentially worst of all, he has nothing to lose.
