Koio was born out of our love for beautifully crafted shoes. Being immersed in the footwear industry, we came to learn about its massive environmental impact—and we wanted to change it. That’s why we set out to make Koio the world’s first regenerative luxury footwear brand, built around the principles that are most important to us: environmental regeneration, fine Italian craftsmanship, and timeless design.
We recently launched our first collection of regenerative luxury sneakers, which help fight climate change by reversing carbon emissions, regenerating soil, and increasing biodiversity.
All of our shoes are designed in New York and handcrafted in small batches at a family owned factory in Italy. Every pair passes through the hands of 42 master artisans before it’s deemed complete, so even the smallest details are perfect.
