Throughout this month, AWMH will explore how each pillar of the mission—funding workforce education, fighting hunger, and supporting critical local services—works individually and, finally, how they work together to create sustainable communities. |

METALLICA MONDAYS RETURNS TONIGHT
For those of you who listen to Maximum Metallica on SiriusXM, you know Spider-Dan has been rooting around in The Metallica Black Box a lot lately to unearth old concerts, giving us the chance to either discover or relive unique gigs from the band’s history. Thinking about these shows got us nostalgic for a series that kept us going during the pandemic in 2020. That’s right…we’re bringing back #MetallicaMondays!
Every Monday throughout May, we will stream a live show on our YouTube channel. It is, of course, free to watch. But if you’re able, we will have a fundraiser connected to each stream where you can make your Month of Giving contribution. And thanks to our Metallica Mondays sponsor, Carhartt, the first $50k in donations will be matched!

BIDDING OPENS TOMORROW
AWMH is taking the auction to the next level this year with nearly 30 pieces of Metallica memorabilia open for bidding! This is the largest collection we’ve ever offered outside of a Helping Hands Benefit… we’re talking a whole range of Metallica-related goodies, as big as an AWMH-branded ESP Snakebyte to as compact as a pick tin. Plus so much in between: jewelry made from band used strings, signed drumheads, even a commemorative S&M2 violin!
As always, all items include a Certificate of Authenticity, and all proceeds raised benefit the Month of Giving campaign.
