It is our humble opinion that nothing β nothing β beats walking into your local and ordering "the usual".
The next level up from that is being recognised on arrival, and asked: "the usual?"
And the ultimate experience, the transcendent goal of human life, is walking in, sitting down, and gratefully receiving your usual β without a word being spoken.
The big question for people like all of us is: how quickly can you recreate this in a new local? A new city? A new country?

Of course, the 2-question survey for $50 is in the usual spot π

Congrats to Christopher, our latest survey winner!
"One of my favourite places in the world is Machu Picchu. Climbing up to this incredible place, high on the eastern slopes of the Peruvian Andes, gives you a true sense of touching the spirit of an ancient civilisation. One can almost hear the echoes of history amongst the precisely placed stones."

In part #73 of our " slowly, the free parts of the internet get worse and paid versions pop up to replace them" series, you may have noticed that Google search results are slowly turning into a wasteland of burnt hopes and shattered dreams.
Until recently, it was tough to replicate Google's ability to crawl every single distant corner of the internet universe. With advances in tech (please don't ask for details), it's now possible to not only match but exceed what Google serves up.
Because search engines like Kagi (paid) and Exa (freemium) rely on subscriptions to survive, they're incentivised by search result quality above all else β unlike a certain other free search engine which exists to sell and convert ad clicks. Here's one comparison case study.

Speaking from (painful? depressing?) experience β some countries are better than others at catering to child adventurers.
But Europe, overall, is pretty good! The magic word you're looking for is "kinderhotels" β family-oriented accommodations that provide food, activities, and sweet sweet childcare.

You can talk or write all you want, but sometimes, the only way to really get your point across is with a deeply nerdy infomap.
As you are no doubt now fully convinced, such delightful learnings are best communicated in map form.
