Minotti strengthens its presence in Central and Eastern Europe by opening a new flagship store in Budapest, the result of a path of consolidation and growth with its long-standing local partner, Code.

In the heart of the Hungarian capital, in the prestigious Liberty Square — just a few steps from the Parliament and the city’s diplomatic and commercial center—the store enjoys a privileged position among historic buildings and major institutions.
Located on the ground floor of a nearly century-old building, the space elegantly weaves together historical charm and contemporary sophistication, also thanks to a façade decorated with half-columns and arches. Six full-height windows, like luminous wings, create a dynamic dialogue between the interior and the exterior, amplifying the store’s striking character.

Designed by Minotti Studio, the approximately 300-square-meter project stands out for its intimate and enveloping atmosphere, defined by fine materials and a refined palette that combines balance and modernity. The Wengé oak herringbone walls and parquet, together with travertine details, alternate with lacquered and mirrored surfaces, creating a harmonious ensemble that enhances the depth and brightness of the environment.

On the ground floor, a fluid sequence of living and dining areas — marked by wooden portals — becomes a distinctive architectural feature and the ideal setting for numerous bestsellers and key pieces from the 2025 Collection, including the Coupé seating system, the Laurel and Libra armchairs, all by Giampiero Tagliaferri, alongside the Riley seating system by Hannes Peer.

Completing the lower level are two outdoor areas and a bedroom space, set within an architectural context characterized by strong material unity. Here, vaulted ceilings, wall niches with exposed brickwork, and wooden surfaces contribute to creating a warm and authentic atmosphere in which the Minotti identity is reflected with elegance and coherence.
