Every summer at this time of year, Northern California summer weather produces super large spinach leaves that our farm partner Lakeside can’t sell to other retailers. They’d normally have to resort to selling the leaves to juicers for much less than they’re worth, but instead we’re buying them up! Just as tasty as baby spinach, with a bit more of a toothsome feel, they’re perfect for sautéing, tossing into scrambles, or throwing right into a smoothie!
