| "Dual-Link DVI Cable. Recently acquired a used Dell 3007WFP 30" monitor, and wanted to make use of its full resolution via my ATI card (2560 X 1600). I had read that a lot of dual-link suppliers on the Internet often sell such cables with the right connector but no wire in between--cheating the purchaser. I decided to give these a try and as soon as they arrived I did a pin-to-pin check
with my Fluke, and found continuity where it belonged. I disconnected my old monitor and single-link DVI and put the 30" monitor and new cable in place and powered it up. It came up with the old resolution, but as soon as I selected the 2560 X 1600 option, the monitor instantly displayed that resolution without any trouble. While Monoprice had the smaller gauge on sale, I opted for the heavier cable, and, again, for even that slightly elevated price, one couldn't quibble with it. It definitely does the job designed and is extremely well-made. Price is a terrific bargain. Couldn't be happier."
