step on it, and the other shelves are great for remotes and loose CD's, etc. Room for growth too if you add more components. If you only have a few components it makes a fine standalone rack. All in all a nice antidote to the overpriced audiophile stuff, and with all the money you save you can afford cones and Vibrapods."
