National Geographic Explorer Prasenjeet Yadav is a photographer who has captured photos of the elusive black tigers living at the Similipal Tiger Reserve in eastern India. Yadav’s project documents the lives of communities who share space with these incredible animals, the complexities of human-tiger conflict, and on-the-ground conservation efforts that are giving these tigers more space to roam. |

National Geographic Explorer Steve Winter is an award-winning wildlife photographer best known for his coverage of the world’s big cats. He’s produced three films and published two books on big cats with his partner, Sharon Guynup. By telling stories of the animals, people, and ecosystems he works with, Winter’s goal is to move people emotionally, bring international attention to the plight of wildlife, and help protect his wild subjects |

National Geographic Explorer Sharon Guynup is an environmental journalist, author, and photographer. Her investigations for National Geographic into wildlife crime have had an impact — working with Steve Winter, she exposed wildlife trafficking from the Tiger Temple in Thailand, prompting officials to confiscate all 147 tigers and shut it down. In addition, their story on captive tigers in the U.S. helped pass a new law, the Big Cat Public Safety Act. |
