Your family doesn’t have to hike a mountain or swim near a coral reef to explore Earth’s wonders. (But if you are doing that—rock on!) Wonder is hiding in plain sight—in the stars, clouds, rocks, and trees in your own backyard. These downloadable activity guides will help your family explore with simple prompts. Here’s one: See stars better by letting your eyes adjust to night vision: Sit in darkness for 20 to 30 minutes-no screens and no flashlights! Count how many stars you can see at 5, 15, and 25 minutes. |
