As 2024 comes to a close, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Whether you’re an OG Organic Basics fan or have just discovered us, thank you! Your support helps us stay true to our values and inspires us to do even better.
Before we turn the page to 2025, we’d like to share a few highlights from this year:
Antonia Gentry x Organic Basics
What began as a dream became something truly impactful when we teamed up with actress Antonia Gentry to design a collection in support of the Rainforest Trust. From sketching ideas to collaborating, the collection will help fund the prevention of nearly 95,000 tons of carbon emissions, the protection of 1,255 acres of wildlife, and the preservation of over 317,000 trees. Meeting so many of you at our NYC event with Antonia reminded us of the incredible community that makes this possible.
Community moments in Copenhagen
Our team grew, and we found a new home in the heart of Nørrebro, celebrating with an office-warming alongside our OB friends and family. Copenhagen Fashion Week gave us the chance to connect further through community events that brought our brand to life in exciting new ways.
Donations we’re proud of
During Black Friday, we partnered with The Or Foundation to fund the removal of 100,000 kg of textile and plastic waste from Ghana’s coastline.
Your support also made it possible to fund initiatives that included:
- The removal of 80,000 kg of plastic from the ocean via Big Blue Ocean Cleanup
- The protection of 32,000 sq. ft. of bee habitat through Pollinator Partnership
- The donation of over 700 pieces of clothing to Conscious Alliance
- Seeds for 924 farmers in the Peruvian Amazon, building sustainable careers with Cool Earth
Collections we love
We launched two GOTS-certified loungewear collections, True and Weekend, made with 100% organic cotton. We also introduced our GRS-certified Recycled Mesh collection, as our unique take on lingerie.
But we’re not where we want to be yet…
While we’re proud of the strides we’ve made this year, we’ve always aimed to think more circularly about our products. In 2025, we’re excited to finally launch our Take Back Program, allowing you to recycle your old OB pieces at the end of their life, something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and can now achieve with our new recycling partner. Alongside this, we’ll be introducing our Digital Product Passport to provide even deeper insights into the full environmental impact and production process of our products, bringing us even closer to the transparency we’ve always committed to.
While we know sustainability can’t be bought, we’re committed to creating more sustainable alternatives that are accessible to everyone. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to a better 2025—together.
