REPAIR TECH AMBER HOADLEY
In rural Pennsylvania, along the banks of the Allegheny River, snowboarding filmmaker Bryden Bowley has quietly built a collection of used Patagonia gear that spans 50 years. For Bryden, capturing moments of his friends on snow and collecting vintage clothing remind him of the value of preservation. And making new memories in secondhand gear helps him stay in the present, “when the most meaningful things can happen.”
Watch the short film to learn how his obsession, snowboarding and a love of the natural world led him to see ownership as an antidote to overconsumption.
