Out today is our newest book,
Protest: Respect It. Defend It. Use It. Written by lifelong activists Annie Leonard and André Carothers, the book revisits dozens of protests across the world that changed the course of history.
We don’t have a shot at saving our home planet if we lose the right to protest. It’s this same reason that we offer nonviolent direct action trainings to our employees, provide paid activism hours to engage in peaceful protests, and bail them out of jail if things escalate. With protest under threat across the world, our hope is that this book can inform, educate and inspire people to use and protect this democratic right.
