Van life wasn't always #vanlife.
In the olden days, before social media and before the vast roadways of our planet were teeming with hundred-thousand-dollar Sprinter Vans, the OG roadtrip icon was the good ol' Westy. The Volkswagen Westfalia Camper was produced from the early 1950s all the way until 2003, and for most of that time it was (by today's standards) quaint, utilitarian, and delightfully slow.
We teamed up with our friends at Candylab Toys to create Gus the Bus, a limited-edition wooden toy that you can grab at peakdesign.com (US shipping only) or PD stores while supplies last.
Learn more about Gus—including why we made him, and who is the real Gus—on our website. And if you want a little Gus in your life, go ahead and grab one while he's still in stock.
