Hey Popsmith fans,
Today I want to share a quick history lesson on kettle corn. Did you know it’s been around for over 200 years?
Dutch settlers brought it here in the 18th century, where it became a staple at county fairs. Vendors would cook kernels in a giant cast iron kettle (hence the name) with lard and sugar using a large wooden paddle to stir everything together.
To this day it’s still a favorite treat for many of us.
The only thing different? You don’t need all that equipment to enjoy authentic kettle corn at home.
Our Popper and pre-measured kits make it so easy. Watch this tutorial video to learn more.
