| California dreamin’ comes true: the Porsche world gathers at Monterey. |
|
|
For one week at the height of the coastal California summer, Monterey Car Week becomes a rallying point for Porsche enthusiasts from all over the world. And we do mean all over: in downtown Carmel, a Macan Electric wearing a local beach permit parked nose-to-tail with a 911 GT1 Straßenversion on French plates is par for the course. And even though the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the undisputed jewel in the Car Week crown, two events in particular shine even brighter for Porsche enthusiasts: Werks Reunion Monterey and The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering.
Produced by Porsche Club of America, Werks is a must-see for Porsche enthusiasts. This year, Werks played host to the debut of a throwback 50th anniversary ANDIAL livery for the new 911 GT3, the first public showing of the limited-edition 911 Club Coupe built to mark 70 years of PCA, plus the regional Restoration Challenge finals. On top of that, a special appearance by the one-of-one 963 RSP, too.

At the south slope of Jacks Peak, you’ll find The Quail, a symphony of champagne, oysters, parasols and all the other trappings of a fine garden party. Those fortunate enough to attend are surrounded by some of the most incredible Porsche sports and racing cars ever made. Be it the brand new 911 GT3 RS Manthey Kit, obscure iterations of the 356, or vintage racers like a 935/84, The Quail brings you closer to these machines than anybody who’s not an owner of one. All with a canapé in hand, of course.
Back in Carmel, enthusiasts gathered at The Barns for Porsche Zentrum, where sports car obsession met pure craftsmanship. And in the evenings, VIPs enjoyed an intimate gathering celebrating the importance of every curve, every detail, and every heartbeat. Because as any Porsche enthusiast will tell you, there is no substitute for how the Porsche experience captivates you right down to your soul.

| Your story is our story. And what a story it is. Share it with the world. |
|
|
With every passing moment in the day, people the world over write Porsche stories. Sometimes they begin behind the wheel, other times they begin long before that. But they’re all deeply emotional, deeply connected.
From @ayrtoncinco, “I grew up watching Porsche compete at Sonoma Raceway and Laguna Seca.” Reflecting on his overland-built Cayenne, Gino Foster says “it’s about how everything responds exactly how you want it to.” And summed up by @fieldandivy, “Every time I drive my 996 Cab, I relive the moment I first wanted one, the moment I first drove one, and the moment I finally called it my own.”
Those are just three examples of the stories to be found in the world of Porsche. Stories like your own. Which is why we want to hear them. Because for everything we put into our sports cars, there is no substitute for what people just like you get out of them.

From the moment its blue and red stripes appeared on Porsche race cars, it was clear the Martini livery was bound for legend. Now, that livery has inspired the limited-edition Porsche x MARTINI RACING collection. From Puma sneakers in one of four Martini colorways, to windbreakers featuring heritage livery-inspired designs, to an extra-large, windproof umbrella perfect for when the rain moves in at Eau Rouge, this collection was designed to celebrate a long line of iconic racing machines—while tugging at the heartstrings of racing enthusiasts.
