We started Sightseer in 2021 out of a deep and abiding love for coffee. For us, coffee is more than a caffeine fix – it’s a sensory experience steeped in history, culture, and connection. We knew we needed to build a roasting company that makes coffee that’s memorable and meaningful – for you, for us, and for the women who grow it.
Here’s what matters to us:
☕ Delicious coffee. We roast every batch with care and intention, turning meticulously sourced specialty beans into coffee you’ll want to drink all day, every day.
🌍 Impact. Farmers deserve to make a sustainable living. By building long-term partnerships and paying well above Fair Trade prices, we’re ensuring that our dollars (and yours!) support growers, their families, and the future of coffee.
💪 Representation. Women make up about 70% of the labor force on coffee farms, but are often shut out of leadership. In an effort to shift that dynamic, we source exclusively from women growers. Research shows that when women lead, more resources go into people and the planet, creating lasting impact.
At Sightseer, every bag is women-owned, women-grown, and joyfully roasted in Austin, Texas.
