Alessandro builds his wines layer by layer, like Sicily itself. Mosaic-bright detail, the finesse of a fine palazzo, and a structured finish carved from stone.
Rooted firmly in home soil, he only grows Sicily’s own—Grillo, Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese and Catarratto—unearthing the local terroir in its purist form. For anyone who likes their wines with both brains and beauty.

Son of a viticulturist and now steward of seven organic hectares near Alcamo, he farms his family’s land by hand, among the same vines that sparked his curiosity as a child. He studied oenology, but the doctrine never stuck, and he returned home dodging conformity, convinced nothing should be added or taken away.

This one’s 40% natural Nero, 40% macho Mascalese, and 20% peppery Perricone. Alessandro hates to mess with nature, delivering unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites vino that’s aged in chestnut (very Sicilian). Sings of black plums and crunchy black cherry, violets, tobacco and timber. Naturally bold.

Sweet but not saccharine, rich with raisins, warm spice, strawberry succulence and so much more. Serve with roasted peaches and vanilla ice cream, or all by its lonesome for a perfect caramel-herbal-stonefruit-citrus closer. Also, love seeing late-harvest Grillo in a dessert wine. If you know, you know.
PROFILE: Orange, Herbal, Peach, Roasted Almond, Quince. STYLE: Dessert & Fortified.

Sicily’s most widely planted white grape Catarratto Lucido, delivers a plethora of flavours, depending on your winemaker. Dodging conformity, this hits out with a full-bodied skinsy style layered in citrus and apricot, wonderfully complicated by extended maceration on skins and nine months in a big ol’ chestnut botti.
PROFILE: Apricot, Grapefruit, Allspice, Lemon, Cedar.
STYLE: Stimulating & Rustic.
