Hope you had a lovely week. As always, I’m going to
Wrap-Up this week’s best happenings for your 60 second reading pleasure.
Big news—our all time
favourite pack of the year is back. You don't need to care about cycling to appreciate three weeks spent winding through some of
Europe's best drinking country. Six bottles matched to six stages—from Catalonia through Burgundy and Alsace before finishing up in Paris. Not a bad way to spend three weeks.
Buckle up.I've said it before, I'll say it again...
Australian sparkling has never been better.
This is the bottle I've been pointing people towards when they ask where to go. Layers of brioche, citrus and all the good stuff.
Incredible winemaker duo who also happen to produce two other
top tier labels. Want a taste of their three very best?
Go here.
This
new release just touched down, and they're already moving fast! A lot of people still think McLaren Vale begins and ends with
Shiraz. Long before everyone got excited about
Nero d'Avola and southern Italian varieties,
this guy was already busy planting them in the region. Turns out he was onto something.
Take a gander. We've well and truly
descended into winter and this is the wine that'll
sort you out. Right on cue,
it landed on our shelves. Spiced, tapenade-y and loaded with blackberries.
You know what to do.
Straight from the
tasting bench, Broc
singled this one out as
his pick of the lot. When you see what it is, you won't be surprised... Or maybe you will.
Off you go.
