We’re beyond thrilled to welcome back Ecuador Carmen Rancho to the menu—a single origin that’s had our hearts—and palates—since 2019.
Behind Ecuador Rancho Carmen is the work of eight small producers in Zamora-Chinchipe, Ecuador—a lush, mountainous region perched in the Andes and primed for exceptional coffee.
These farmers grow and process their coffee with incredible care, often on just a few acres of land. It's meticulous work, done in challenging conditions—from shifting climate patterns to a lack of infrastructure and limited access to the global market.
Despite the hurdles, they continue to produce standout coffees year after year in partnership with ACRIM(Asociación Agropecuaria Artesanal de Productores Orgánicos Cuenca del Río Mayo), a local organization supporting them as they continue to refine their practices—including strategic picking, extended fermentation times, and raised-bed drying.
