Ever taste something so clean, sweet, and balanced the lights turn up? That's Stumptown Cold Brew. That technicolor refreshment didn't just happen—we created it. And since it's National Cold Brew Day, we're making some noise.
Great cold brew begins with great coffee, and that's how we make it—using Direct Trade coffee, expertly roasted and brewed by us.
Here's a look at cold brew's journey:
2011: Our iconic Stubby hits the streets—setting off a surge of Stumptown Cold Brew mania as cold brew went from cafe-only pours to places it hadn’t been before.
2014: Nitro arrives on the scene—bringing a smooth, cascading rush of cold brew to a can for the first time. Turns out cold brew and nitrogen together was a good move.
2019: Creamy-dreamy Cold Brew with Oatly makes waves as our first oatmilk cold brew.
2025: Decaf Cold Brew and Cold Brew Delight (with a lighter caffeine lift) join the lineup—same Stumptown flavor, just a little less throttle. We also dropped
Organic French Roast and
Organic Ethiopia single origin concentrates, unleashing an entirely new flavor experience for those seeking to dial in their own brew.
We’ve also created special-edition cold brews for Stephen Colbert’s Late Show debut in 2015, and for the 15th anniversary of LAIKA’s Coraline in 2024.
So what's next? We can tell you this: it's gonna be Stumptown good. In the meantime, grab a cold one at one of our cafes or a grocery store near you, and raise it high for National Cold Brew Day.
