I’ve always been pleased that so many people have embraced the mission of the Sundance Institute. It wasn’t so obvious that we’d succeed when we launched in 1981, but it’s been an idea that unites people.
Now you are one of the reasons we can continue that support around the world, finding authentic new voices and cultivating
audiences together to celebrate their work. Over the years, we’ve helped launch thousands of new careers and tens of thousands of new projects in a variety of crafts.
Our beliefs are still simple — that stories and storytellers are a vital part of our society and the reminders of our shared humanity.
