Hi,
I'm here to fix your breakfast routine.
Here's my confession: I lost my way these past few months. I was all about the quick carbs—english muffins, toast, whatever I could grab fast. I told myself I was "carb loading" for my morning workouts. I was sabotaging my workout and day before it even started.
Other days I skipped breakfast and went straight to the workout. Even bigger mistake. After 20 minutes I was losing power and wasn't making any fitness gains despite putting in the time.
What I Was Missing
I was burning through those simple carbs in an hour, feeling bloated immediately after eating, and completely missing my opportunity to get critical nutrients into my system. Plus zero protein to speak of.
Worse, It wouldn't even fill me up until launch, then I'd be starving and binge the wrong stuff for lunch (terrible cycle).
The Green Drink Trap
I've seen so many athletes fall into the green drink trend for breakfast. Look, I have a lot to say about most of those drinks (and not much of it is good), but I'm glad to see their usage fading.
Most green drinks are watery, low-calorie, and don't pack the nutrients athletes actually need. They're missing protein. They're missing substantial calories. They won't keep you full for more than 90 minutes.
Athletes are finally getting back to more nutrient-dense and efficacious options. Top of that list? Kyoku.
Why I Came Back to Kyoku
I love Kyoku so much I bought the company from the founders a few years ago. Not as an investment—because I genuinely believe it's the best breakfast shake for athletes.
Here's what makes it different:
Each ingredient is flash-frozen to lock in nutrients, then made into powder while still frozen. No cheap fillers. No ingredients that cost pennies. Just 16 superfoods picked specifically for athletes.
It gives me 17g of protein and 20g of carbs in 220 calories. Keeps me full for hours. Stabilizes my glucose levels so I don't crash. And I actually feel good after drinking it—no bloating, no heaviness before a workout.
When 4-time Tour de France Champion Chris Froome tried it, he said: "I use it most mornings before training as it gives me hours of nutrition without feeling all bloated like I did with other shakes."
The Ultimate Breakfast Shake
A few weeks ago, I started fixing my breakfast routine. I'm thrilled with the results, so I wanted to share exactly what I'm doing.
Most mornings, I'm boosting my Kyoku with two critical additions:
The Feed Lab Creatine (5g)
Yes, for strength and power. But honestly? I'm doing it more for mood regulation. I'm way better at dealing with stress and laughing more when I take creatine daily. You won't taste it in the shake.
Momentous Collagen (1 scoop)
Helps with inflammation and protects soft tissue—crucial now that I'm running more and lifting in the gym. You won't taste the collagen either.
All three together in one shake = ultimate performance breakfast.
Two Ways to Get Started
Option 1: Try Kyoku for 6 Mornings
Get a 6-pack of Kyoku + the portable blender for just $28 (a 51% savings).
This battery-powered blender is the real deal. We tested over 40 different blenders to find one that mixes perfectly, has long battery life, and is easy to sip from. It's like a portable coffee mug that blends like a tornado.

Option 2: The Ultimate Breakfast Bundle
Get everything—12-pack Kyoku + The Feed Lab Creatine + Momentous Collagen + Blender for $76 (normally $134).
This is the exact stack I use most mornings. It's become non-negotiable for me.

How I Make It
Take 12oz of oat milk (my favorite), add a handful of ice, 4 oz of water, one pouch of Kyoku, one scoop of creatine, one scoop of collagen. Blend for 30 seconds.
Sometimes I'll add a shot of espresso or a banana. Both are excellent.
The whole thing takes 2 minutes and keeps me full until well past lunch. On workout days, I can train hard without feeling heavy. On work days, I'm sharp and focused for hours.
The Bottom Line
If you've been doing the toast-and-coffee breakfast routine like I was, you're leaving so much on the table. Critical nutrients. Stable energy. Actual satiation.
Kyoku fixes all of it. The creatine and collagen take it to another level.
Give it six mornings and see how different you feel.

P.S. Yes, Kyoku is expensive to make. We source the best ingredients from around the world regardless of price. It takes over six months to gather everything for one production run. But if you want to start your day right, a few dollars shouldn't stop you from getting the best nutrition. I take it myself, my kids take it. I'm not going to compromise on anything that my family is consuming at breakfast.
P.P.S. When I feel I have gut issues or digestion is not on track (I'll spare you the specifics), I add a scoop of SwissRX Gut Defense to the morning shake until things improve. I also always do this a few days before and after flying or traveling. The chocolate flavor actually makes the shake taste even better.
